The Salon
The heart of our home is the large living area, which retains all its original stonework and beams.
Two french windows in the east wall lead to the terrace and swimming pool, while similar doors in the south side take you to a smaller patio and one of the lawned areas of the garden.
Three sofas provide comfortable seating around the large stone fireplace, which has a wood-burner for chilly evenings. A TV, DVD player and satellite digibox with free-to-air English channels is available for those who like to stay in touch with the world, as well as wi-fi internet access throughout the property. There is a collection of DVDs and a library of paperback books to read during your stay.
A staircase takes you up to the gallery landing and upstairs rooms, while two steps down allow access to the self-contained ground floor bedroom annex. Double doors lead to the kitchen/diner.
Kitchen/Diner
The kitchen at Le Mas, once used as a milking parlour, contains all the conveniences you would wish on holiday.
The large, American style fridge/freezer dispenses filtered water and ice for those hot, sunny days, while the kitchen cupboards hold enough plates, cups and glasses for all our guests, including plenty of colourful plastic plates and beakers for the younger members of the family.
There is also an electric oven/grill, an induction hob and a dishwasher. A combination microwave/grill, toaster and kettle are also included.
At the other end of the room is a large solid ash table and ten chairs. There is also a sideboard with a radio/C.D player.
Utility Room
Accessed through the kitchen, the utility room has a sink, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, indoor clothes dryer etc.
There is also a separate WC.
Bedroom Annexe
The three downstairs bedrooms are separated from the living area by two steps, a door and a short corridor.
